August 7th, 1310 — Melville's room - Le Coquelicot - Night Court

It has been five long weeks since the day I have seen you. You were just passing by and I can swear that you did not even know of my existence. However, my eyes were set on you, and, oh my sweet muse, you stole my heart.

I was not able to sleep for the darkest seven days of my life. I was just sweating in my bed with a hope to find a way to express my feelings. I desired to freeze your beauty in a large canvas that thousands of generations could have a memory of you. A bright memory of your gentle features and motherly posture, intelligence in your eyes and a friendly smile on your lips.

And then, finally, I took a brush into my hands four weeks ago. The canvas was not large enough but I started to capture my memories of you.

Four weeks have past.

I look at the finished work now and I am unhappy. This is /nothing/ compared to who you really are.

Shall I simply burn my painting that a memory of you wouldn't be twisted?

Or shall I simply keep it close to myself, this secret adoration I carry in my heart?

Oh my sweet muse, tell me what do I do?
