Aziza was currently on the bow of the ship, her long hair free as it whips in the wind. Closing those kohl lined eyes she smiles softly to herself then grins. "….this is nice….." Sighing, she pulls that small cloak around her shoulders as she pushes off of the railing then. Looking around she seems to be taking it all in.

*

The wind rushed passed, men and women alike worked the rigging and did their daily chores around the deck. The captain himself was on the foredeck, standing speaking with the navigator, rechecking their course. He glanced up, making eye contact with the ambassador as she turned to look about. He gave a smile, and a nod of his head.

*

Aziza catches that look and smiles. Turning fully, she brings her way around near where the captain himself is standing. Taking a deep breath she breathes in the salty air. "Captain…." Looking at the crew moving about she smiles. "It's been a couple of days….and it's been lovely. I'm really shocked at how fast we are moving…." Looking back to him a brow raises. "In a rush to get me off of your ship?"

*

Edgard smirked, "We're taking it easy for now. Unless you'd wish me to press for more." He gave a wink, "At full sheet you'd quite enjoy the motion of the ocean, I'd wager."

*

Aziza chuckles a bit as she moves to stand next to him. "This is taking it easy?" Looking over to him she gives a wink. "….I guess you were not kidding about how fast this ship was." Exhaling she pulls that cloak tighter around her then. "Thank you again by the way. At this rate we should be there in four or five more days I gather….."

*

Edgard gave a nod, "Four more, and we'll dock that night, at this rate." He smiled, "Then you'll have to decide if you risk the streets of a strange town at night, or risk one more night aboard my ship, with my attentions no longer divided." He teased her.

*

Aziza blinks then lets out a laugh. "Well that is not what I was expecting. I thought the trip would be longer…." Exhaling a bit she just shakes her head then raises her brow. That husky voice of hers just rings out as she gives him a wink. "I think I can handle that town as well as you, my lord. I don't know how dangerous a captain that's not distracted will be….."

*

Edgard smirked, "Some women are hard to please. Tell them it'll be quick and painless, and they complain, tell them it could take all night and they start groaning…." He made a 'tisk tisk' sound, and then reached over, to pull her closer, rubbing her opposite shoulder to share warmth through her cloak, "Distracted, I'm more a man than many, undettered? Well… You may wish to send for palanquin, come the fifth morning from now."

*

Aziza rolls her eyes playfully then as she nods. "You must be doing it wrong if they complain…." Chuckling she then raises a brow as he pulled her close then smiles as she leans to accept the warmth. "Duly noted. And I will then. I figure morning will be the best time to go. We can see and no surprises….." A shrug as she looks out. "Should be fun…."

*

Edgard chuckled and shook his head, "You'll have to tell me." He continued to rub her shoulder for now as she leaned in, "And I'll have my men arrange the palanquin. I can garuntee your safety aboard my ship, but, you must take care else wise."

*

Aziza let's out a laugh as she just shakes her head. "Maybe…if I find out." Taking a deep breath she closes her eyes for a moment then nods. "….thanks for keeping me warm…." That voice was soft as she slowly glanced over t him. "And I will. What's the worst that could happen? We're on a diplomatic mission….."

*

Edgard laughed, "That question is more dangerous than I am." He glanced down to her, and then motioned to the cabin, "I've something inside, to warm you more thuroughly, if you are so inclined."

*

Moving from his 'embrace' she nods then as she follows his request. "Certainly…." Aziza seems deep in thought for a moment then goes for that cabin. Opening the door she steps in, leaving it open for him as she pulls of that cloak. Her attire not the first he's seen of hers but surely she's slightly shocked the crew.

*

Edgard slipped in behind her, closing the cabin door as he did. There was still plenty of light coming from the colored glass windows out the rear of the ship, giving a nearly 180 degree view of the ocean outside. Dead center was a large round table, bolted to the floor, with seats that folded out beneath it. Off to one side was the bed, large, and feather stuffed, and uber comfortable. He walked over to shelves near the bed, and pulled down a bottle, and a few glasses, motioning her to the bed.

*

Aziza raises a brow as she looks to that bed then chuckles. Slowly she sits down as she crosses her legs at the ankles then tilts her head. Taking a deep breath she smiles softly then as she looks to the bottle. "I knew it was liquor of some sort….I knew it…." Laughing softly she places her hands in her lap. "But what sort?"

*

Edgard chuckled, "I've a friend, up in the mountains of Siovale. There it is the coldest it can be in Terre D'Ange. I asked him once, how he and his wife stay warm through all those frozen nights, and you know what he told me?" He produced the bottle of bourbon. "This. Take a shot of this. But, you have to do it a very special way." He looked her over, "Care to help me?"

*

Aziza lets out a laugh as she hears that. "Oh? I'm sure it is more than just this…" Looking to the bottle she smiles over at him before giving a light shrug. "Alright….." Nodding firmly she holds her hand out. "I will give it a try. But how do you take the shot? Pass me glass and show me."

*

Edgard handed her her glass, and set his aside for now. He poured for her, and then reached over to push her hair off her neck gently. He then just as gently tilted her head aside, leaving her neck and shoulder bared for him. He THEN poured just a touch of the liquor so that it dripped down her neck, to pool in the little dip between her clavicle and shoulder. "Now, you drink yours, and I drink mine…" He leaned down to tease his lips along her neck, trailing his tongue down, before he started to sip the hard stuff from her shoulder.

*

Aziza blinks as he pushes that hair off of his shoulder. Taking that glass from him she seems to be curious until she feels that cool liquor touch her skin. A soft gasp leaves her lips as she cuts her gaze to him. But instead she just takes her drink as he takes his. A smile tugs at her lips as she feels that his lips upon her, closing her eyes a moment before she clears her throat. "Well, captain…." Sitting up straight again she laughs softly. "….that is an interesting way to drink that…..I liked it."

*

Edgard grinned, and gave a nod, "Wait till I show you how they drink tequilla in Aragonia…" He moved to sit beside her then, pouring into his glass, and sipping from it. "I'm glad you've enjoyed your stay aboard my ship. Of course, if there's anything I can do to make your trip more pleasant, you've but to ask."

*

Aziza chuckles a bit as she gives him a wink as she just shakes her head. "Should you be showing me such things?" Licking her lips she then takes another sip of her drink. "And Have been. You've been too kind and very hospitable. I am sure the Pharaoh will be very thankful for you getting me to Caerdicci in one piece…." A smile as she looks to the window. "….I may have to take a trip again."

*

Edgard grinned, "Anytime you like, it would be my pleasure to give you a ride." He smiled, "Does the Pharaoh dote on all his ambassadors so?" He chuckled, "And if I didn't show you, surely someone else would, and what fun would I have in that?"

*

Raising her brow a bit she then leans back on her hand. Taking another sip she looks to that window and chuckles. "Do kings of other lands dote on them? I mean I am his translator and the one that goes to help him with diplomatic matters. You should treat them good right?" A shrug as Aziza then laughs. "Mayhaps….but…..who knows….."

*

Edgard chuckled, "Some, I suppose. Would be a convinient way to get an annoying uncle or cousin out of the way as well though." His voice took on a stronger, distinct accent, "You know, dear cuz… I hear Vralia is nice this time of year…. Hmmm…" He tapped on his chin in mock thought, and then grinned to her.

*

Aziza raises her brow then as she hears that. Her husky voice is even more prevalent as she chuckles softly. "If I were an annoying cousin to get rid off….I won't go down easily." Watching him, she smirks as she sets that glass down. Slowly she stands a she gives him a wink. "You can try, my lord. However….I don't have that concern…."

*

Edgard smiled and gave a nod, "Good to know. From my experience, when a beauty like you goes down, things are often very hard." He mused, and watched her as she stood.

*

Looking him over for a moment then she looks to him playfully as she pulls her long hair back over her shoulder. "Beauty…..?" Aziza steps to him and leans in slightly but simply hands him her glass. "….thanks for the drink but…." A wink is given to him as she moves away from him and grabs that cloak. "….we'll test the tequila later. I'm going up to check on my men….."

*

Edgard chuckled, and threw back the last of his shot, as he watched her walk up the steps and back out the cabin. "Mmm… Hot."
