Known Information
A huntress and scout in service of House Mereliot
Background
Why was Roux called Roux? Because her parents expected her to be a redhead. Alas, fate had different plans. The faint reddish sheen soon darkened into a more brunette hue, but the name stuck, and so she kept it. The eldest daughter of a commoner, a skilled bowman and hunter called Berenger Duval who had found service with House Mereliot, and his wife of similar common origin, Sylvie Bonnasseur, soon found a taste for her father's trade, often accompanying him into the woods of Aubagne. Gifted with a talent for the bow and a high perception, it was only natural that she entered service with her father's masters, as one of the huntsmen and -women of House Mereliot. With her father being elevated to Master of the Hunt, Roux has become a huntress and scout in her own right, not wishing to be treated differently from the other hunters.
