Known Information

Juliette joined the Salon de Lis d'Or shortly before her tenth birthday. And so she became one of the very few novices that lived in the Court de Nuit of Marsilikos, where a majority would indeed be fully marqued, or adepts that were still working on completing the art that was to be inked into their back. A beautiful child she had been, a daughter of a Caerdicci noblewoman, who, lured by a d'Angeline Vicomte, had come to Marsilikos and only left when her family had forced her to - eleven years after her elopement.

Her father had kept her mother as consort, an arrangement that was unacceptable to her family. And with Fernanda leaving, it seemed a convenient step to place Juliette in Naamah's service. Her looks and grace had sufficed to be admitted among those of Lis d'Or, and the flaw of Caerdicci blood in her veins was not affecting her beauty. To her mother, she had always been Julieta, but among the flowers of the salon, she became Juliette nó Lis d'Or.

The Lis d'Or subjects their novices to an extensive training, involving calligraphy, courtly etiquette and heraldry of Eisandine nobility; but also the art of moving with the ease of a feather gliding on an afternoon breeze; the way of walking into a room making sure to draw attention with subtle elegance. Entertainment in ways of the lute, through song and dancing was a thing that came easy to Juliette, and so she pursued these studies perhaps more than some of her adept brothers and sisters.

Her debut happened on the evening of her sixteenth birthday, and it was celebrated with a fête held in the ballroom of Lis d'Or. Some notable Eisandine nobles were in attendance, but it would be an l'Agnacite Comte who would end up winning her debut and paying her virgin price.

In the years that followed, she has served in the salon, a favorite among some local nobles, earning her patron gifts that continue to pay the progress of her marque.
