Estelle is the child of a former Heliotrope Second, Desideria nó Heliotrope, and a noble from the Namarrese line of House Courcel,
Amaury Theodore de la Courcel. Born on Mont Nuit in Elua, she would stay there for most of her child- and early adulthood.
Her calling went beyond mere service to Naamah. Her passionate disposition turned her towards House Jasmine at first though.
Until the age of ten she fostered at Heliotrope House, and then was turned over to House Jasmine. She seemed adequately placed there, dedicated herself to Naamah and debuted at the age of sixteen. After three years it took to complete her marque, she would stay for a few more years with Jasmine House, before she relocated to Namarre.
But before she did, she got with child. Her son Phariel was not meant for a life as courtesan, and so he was acknowledged by his father, the Marquis of Auxerre, Absalon l'Envers and taken along to grow up at the ducal seat at Troyes-le-Mont.
Two years after Phariel left Mont Nuit, Estelle followed and joined a local salon in Troyes-le-Mont, the Salon des Marguerites, specializing in Jasmine and Heliotrope canon. Her journey did not end there.
While Estelle took assignations, she became as much a teacher of the religious aspects of service at the salon, the longer she continued she found an increasing spirituality within herself, a love that went beyond assignations. A love for all living, a deeper understanding of the holiness of each act of love, both platonic and physical. It is this deeper sort of spirituality that made Estelle finally leave service and join the Great Temple of Naamah at Troyes-le-Mont, at the age of 33. She started as acolyte, studying the religious works on Elua and His Companions, and Naamah in particular. The *other* works she was already familiar with, the many tomes on physical pleasure and its many variations. After three years, she embarked on her journey, wandering about Terre d'Ange for one year and a day, earning her priesthood by following Naamah's example in a much purer and genuine way than any courtesan would. It was when she returned that she finally was declared Priestess of Naamah, at the age of 37.
When a spot became recently vacant at the Temple of Naamah in Marsilikos, Estelle was sent there. There are also some motivations of her own to seek out the city. As she has heard rumors, about Phariel l'Envers visiting Marsilikos for an extended stay with a good friend, a landed member of House Mereliot.
